Plants vs. Zombies is a tower defense game. The defensive space has horizontal parallel rows. Get resources and place defensive units on the grid to stop enemies from marching right to left. The final goal is to defend the left-screen base.

Maximize resource production from the start. Build at least two rows of resource-producing units.
Only place low-cost attack units in rows where enemies appear first to conserve resources.
Backline: Dedicated to resource-producing units for safety.
Middleline: The main firepower area, deploying long-range and area-of-effect attack units.
Frontline: Deploy high-health physical barrier units to absorb damage.
Analyze the enemy structure before starting the game. Choose defensive units that directly counter the enemy's characteristics.
Always equip at least one offensive unit with instant damage to handle situations where the defensive line is broken.
Match Pace
Maintain a reserve of resources to rebuild your formation or provide emergency firepower when the enemy launches a concentrated attack.
Remove and replace basic offensive units with higher-tier units once the resource production system is stable.
Sun: The primary currency for deploying formations. Collected from the environment or from resource-producing plant units.
Plants: Tactical tools are divided into functional classes, including production, physical attack, effect attack, and physical barrier.
Zombies: Offensive units that appear in waves. They possess different health, movement speed, and resistance stats.
Environment: External conditions change cyclically, directly affecting resource production and attack trajectories.
Other sports-style games: Backyard Baseball.
