The game pits two opposing sides against each other: the Hiders and the Seekers.
As a Hider, the countdown timer is your worst enemy at the beginning. You have to think fast, find a great location, then utilise your painting tools to blend your colours into the surroundings. Don't stand exposed in open space; seek out blind spots, press yourself against matching color zones, and strike a natural pose. Perfect camouflage is achieved when you truly believe you are part of the wall itself.
Conversely, if you are on the Seeker team, patience and a keen eye are key. Your mission is to expose the subtlest anomalies on the map: a wall section with a slightly off-tone color, an oddly shaped object, or a patch of color that jitters because an opponent accidentally nudged their movement key.
Don't try to mix your colors before picking a hiding spot. A perfectly colored character standing right in the middle of a walkway will be spotted in an instant.
When a Seeker approaches, absolutely do not move or change your camera angle. Even the slightest movement will shatter the illusion you worked so hard to create.
Dark areas or spots cluttered with objects can help mask minor imperfections in your color blending. Familiarizing yourself with the room layouts will help you easily spot any superfluous object that has just appeared in the current round.
